WHO WE ARE

Our history

Solabot is a brain child of Amit Aggarwal Founder and Director of Solabot Technologies Pvt. Ltd. He was facing problem of regular accumulation of dust and dirt on his rooftop solar power plant even after washing which resulted in lower energy output. He also encountered wastage of water and lack of experienced man power to clean solar panels.

To overcome this problem he with his team started developing an automatic robotic solar panel cleaning system to clean solar panels daily forseeing no usage of water and minimal human interface. After 2 years of extensive research and development he comes with a novel dry robotic cleaning solution – Solabot

Amit Aggarwal is a serial entrepreneur and has established successful business of Aggarwal Electro wires Pvt. Ltd in 2007 which is specialized cable manufacturer are offering a comprehensive range of Fiberglass Cables, PTFE Cables. After handing over the Business to the next generation, Amit continuously monitored Solar PV Industry from 2014 onwards and worked on developing the Dry Robotic cleaning product and successfully developed and launched the product in early 2017.

Suman leads the Engineering and Research and Development at Solabot. He worked on preparing concepts along with his team to make them as commercially successful products. Suman has been instrumental in growing Solabot substantially on product side and his zeal to continuously develop and introduce new features into the products makes him very valuable member at Solabot. He leads a team of 18 young aspiring engineers and directly reports to the Founder of the organization

We hired the services of PI Berlin (Gujarat) a renowned third-party lab to test our robot in extreme dust/soil condition. The test results proved that robots made by Solabot are safe for modules.
